He likes the sharp, agonizing pain that comes from a loved one or trusted friend letting you down at the worst moment, but does not revel in the long, slow descent into evil. Unlike Pristane, who will spend years corrupting one person, Salias often flips a switch in a person’s head to make them turn on their friends in a burst of betrayal, and then loses interest. It is said that he has an incredibly short attention span, though. Salias is remarkably outgoing, friendly and usually very helpful: right up until it will do the most damage to be unhelpful. It is hard to beat someone at their own game. More often than not, these gods hope that they can use Salias more than Salias is using them, but most fail. He has worked with the Light Gods, and there are a few that he often fools into trusting him. Salias has changed sides at least a dozen times in the past 50 years, and loves helping anyone from either side of the war right up until he finds it amusing to destroy what trust and faith he has built up.

He has made it known from his first involvement in the wars that he is not the one to be trusted, and therefore infuriates everyone with whom he works. He finds it highly amusing when he gains the trust of those who should really know better, and flaunts his powers in the faces of his enemies. Salias is, surprisingly, an incredibly overt God.
